Cornish festivals for summer 2025.

Cornish festivals have come a long way since the days of a six pack of cider, a beach fire and a guitar (take me back…..!) and there is now a long list of events that span the whole summer season. Whatever your jam, you will find something to tick your festie boxes, so pack the car and let’s go!

Rattler Fest Healeys Cider Farm 25-26 April

This is the kind of festival that could only happen in Cornwall. An adult only weekend of live music and DJ’s, spring break party games, and the legendary Rattler Olympics! Rattler Fest is a fairly new addition to the festie calendar but has quickly become the official start to the Cornish Festival season.

The Great Estate Scorrier House, Redruth 30 May- 1 June

Marketed as the “most rambunctious garden fete” this weekend extravaganza is back for 2025, bring us more fun and frolics in the grounds of Scorrier House. The Great Estate has made its name as a true family event, with a side of weird and wonderful. Think Alice In Wonderland meets Gin Bar, and you are on the right track.

Tunes in the Dunes Perranporth 6-8 June

As close to the ocean as you can get, Tunes in the Dunes really does give the full beach party experience. A proper party line-up this year, so plenty of chances to get your toes in the sand and dance the night away!

The Wyldes  Bude, various dates

More of a venue than a festival, this amazing location has seen some epic performances over the last few years. Born from Leopollooza Fest (RIP!) The Wyldes has earned a reputation from artists and party goers as an inclusive and exciting venue, all set in a wooded valley. 2025 artists are being announced soon, so sign up to their newsletter to be the first to know.

Eden Sessions The Eden Project, various dates

Probably needs no introduction, as the Eden Sessions have been scoring big names since they started. One of their most eclectic line-ups for years, 2025 will see Texas, Gary Barlow, Madness and The Deftones take to the stage, proving once again that it really does take all sorts.

Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival Falmouth 13-15 June

A festival with a difference, Falmouth will come alive with the sound of song from over eighty groups who come from the world over to celebrate the towns historical connection to the sea. Held in conjunction with the Falmouth Classics sailing event, this is a weekend of sailing and song!

Paradhis Festival Boconnoc Estate 4-6 July

Now in its second year, Paradhis is a hub of all thing’s wellness. Offering sound baths, yoga sessions and cacao temples, this is as far removed from drinking cider in your wellies as you can get.

Tropical Pressure Festival  Mount Pleasant Eco Park, Porthtowan 12-14 July

This is a fun one. A glorious weekend of musical celebration, featuring music from around the world, workshops for kids and adults alike, and darn good food. Check out their Spotify playlist to get you in the mood for a fab weekend.

Wild Garden Festival  Port Eliot 17-20 July

Another newbie to the list, Wild Garden is held in the grounds of beautiful Port Eliot House.

Rock Oyster Festival  Rock 24-27 July

A great weekend of food and family friendly fun, Rock Oyster has gone from strength to strength. Held on the banks of the Camel Estuary, and packed with music, food, and workshops, this is a small festival with a huge appeal.

Boardmasters  Newquay 6-10 August

The biggie, Boardmasters is a festival of two parts. Head to Watergate Bay for the music, or to Fistral Beach for the surf fest. Both venues have food, stalls, and plenty of fun goings on. Usually a festival for the younger crowd, you may spot the odd disorientated oldie wondering what all the noise is about.

Cornwall Folk Festival Wadebridge 21-25 August

Now in its 52nd year, the Cornwall Folk Fest takes over Wadebridge for the weekend, turning its streets and venues into a folkie heaven.

Little Orchard Cider and Music Festival  Healeys Cider Farm 12-14 September

Back to the farm we go! Little Orchard is heading into its twelfth year, still as dedicated to the cause of spreading joy through music and cider as it was at the beginning.

Kernowfornia Festival Looe beach 26-28 September

Close out the summer with a trip to Kernowfornia, Cornwall’s first net-zero waste festival. Held on Looe beach and featuring two large stages as well as happenings throughout the town, this promises to be a fun-packed weekend, and the perfect way to say goodbye to summer 2025.
