Newquay

Newquay loves New Year’s Eve. The pubs and bars are full of party people in fancy dress, and there is a general good vibe in the air. Head to Central Square to party outside, then make your way to the Harbour for midnight fireworks. That’s not the end of it though, drag yourself out of bed on New Year’s Day to take part in the ‘Dip For CLIC’ at Newquay Harbour. Chuck yourself in the sea to raise money for a fantastic cause, fancy dress encouraged! That will see that pesky hangover off in style….

St Ives

Fireworks at midnight over the harbour, fancy dress a must!! Pub crawls are the thing to do in St Ives, don’t miss The Sloop, one of Cornwall’s oldest Inns for some proper NYE revelry. Children are allowed in the bars until 9pm, so if you are planning a night our en famille you may need to make provisions to get the younger party members home by then. Keep an eye out for parking signs, the town centre is closed to traffic from 6pm so don’t park anywhere that you can’t escape from when the crowds descend!
